The Cleaning Cart A cartridge contains 13 grams of anhydrous
sodium carbonate powder.
It is used in combination with the heat disinfection program
to clean the dialysis machine fluid path. When circulated
throughout the fluid path, the sodium carbonate solution
removes organic deposits, fats and proteins.
